Off to California tomorrow for a department chair conference. Should be pretty interesting. Normally my conferences are all discipline specific, and am almost always presenting something myself. This time it's all administrative and governance related, with quite a broad group of people.

Wish I would have more time there. I fly in to San Diego in the morning, the conference starts later that day, then the conference ends on Saturday and I fly back that afternoon/evening. But with all of this NCATE stuff that needs to be done before the site visit next month I really can't afford time away. 38 days to NCATE and counting.
